3. Data processing in connection with our online presences
3.1 Presences on social media
Data processing on our Instagram presence
For the information we publish, we use the platform and services of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (hereinafter "Meta"). If you choose to use our Meta pages, you do so at your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (for example commenting or rating). We have no influence on the type and scope of the data Meta collects and processes. As a rule, when you use our Meta pages, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Meta. According to Meta, this IP address is anonymized (for IP addresses from Germany) and deleted after 90 days. Meta also stores information about your device. This information is used to provide us, as page operators, with statistical information.
Meta also provides us with statistical data for our pages. This is aggregated data that helps us understand how users interact with our page and allows us to present our offering in an optimized way and communicate effectively with users. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, with our legitimate interest arising from the purposes stated above. The data collected about you in this context is processed by Meta and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Information on Meta's transfer of European data to third countries, including the Instagram platform, can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum
Further information on data protection at Meta, and in particular on how you can object to processing or manage or delete the information held about you, can be found in Meta's privacy policy: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/
If you are logged in to Meta services, a cookie containing your identifier is stored on your device. This allows Meta to recognize that you have visited our page and how you used it. This also applies to all other Meta pages. Meta is also able to link your visits to these websites to your Meta profile. Based on this data, Meta can offer you tailored content or advertising. If you want to avoid this, you can log out of Meta, deactivate the "stay logged in" function, and delete the cookies stored on your device. This deletes the Meta information through which you can be directly identified. You can then use our Meta pages without your Meta identifier being disclosed. If you want to use the page's interactive functions (for example Like, comment, and messages), a Meta login window appears. After logging in, Meta can once again link you to your profile.
Insofar as we, as the provider of our Meta pages, process personal data exclusively ourselves, for example when you contact us about our products or give us your consent to do so, your data is collected, processed, and used for the purpose of answering your inquiry or providing the service you requested. The legal bases for this processing are Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Beyond this, as the provider of our Meta pages, we do not collect or process any data from your use of our service.

This data is used to provide us with anonymized statistics about the use of our TikTok content, to analyze the reach of our posts, and to optimize our content. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in improving our social media presence and better understanding our target groups.

This information is processed exclusively locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, and thereby withdraw any consent you have given.
The processing is based on our legitimate interest in designing our website in a legally compliant manner and in fulfilling our statutory documentation obligations pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
Cookies and services that are not technically necessary

If you have given your consent via our cookie notice ("Accept all"), we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google"). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

When involving service providers in the context of data processing on our behalf, we comply with the data protection provisions of Art. 28 GDPR and Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
Beyond this, we only pass data on to third parties if you have expressly consented to this, if the transfer is evidently necessary to perform a service you have requested (for example involving a shipping service provider), or if the transfer is required by law.
In the event of a transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU or the EEA, we take all necessary steps to ensure that appropriate measures to protect your personal data have been taken in accordance with data protection regulations, for example by applying the standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission.
6. Use of data for communication and marketing
Surveys and advertising for similar products
To ensure that our service meets your expectations, we may use the email address you provide in the course of an inquiry, an order, or in connection with the use of our free offerings for customer satisfaction surveys. As a customer, we may send you advertising by email, even without prior consent, for products similar to the services you have commissioned or used from us in the past. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by subscribing and confirming your subscription.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. After submitting the form, you receive an email with a confirmation link that is valid for 7 days. Only when you click this link do we add your address to our mailing list. This ensures that no one can register someone else's email address. If you do not confirm, we do not use your address any further.
To document your consent, we log the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address from which you confirmed the registration (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR). This information, together with your email address, is sent by email to our mailbox newsletter@deedeedun.com at easyname and stored there.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by sending an informal message to newsletter@deedeedun.com. We will then remove your address from our mailing list. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.

These measures serve to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data we process and to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or manipulation.
The technical and organizational measures are adapted to the state of the art as necessary in order to continue to ensure the protection of your data.

In accordance with data protection law, you also have the right to erasure of your personal data if the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR are met (right to be forgotten), as well as the right to restriction of processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data (Art. 21 GDPR) where this processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR. This applies in particular to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
You also have the right to data portability, meaning that you can receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or request that this data be transmitted to another controller, provided the conditions of Art. 20 GDPR are met.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law or that your rights have otherwise been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.
You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future, for example by informal notice by email or in writing to the contact details given above (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent up to the time of withdrawal remains unaffected.
